An artistic Pokemon fan has showcased an impressive custom Game Boy Advance SP themed after the legendary Rayquaza. The Game Boy Advance era is fondly remembered by fans for its third-generation Pokemon games, such as Ruby and Sapphire, their enhanced version Pokemon Emerald, and popular spin-offs like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team, Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire, and the remakes Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. This generation introduced many iconic Pokemon, with Rayquaza standing out as one of the most powerful and beloved Legendary Pokemon, sharing the spotlight with Kyogre and Groudon and serving as the cover star for Pokemon Emerald.

Rayquaza's enduring popularity has inspired fans to create Paradox forms, imagine it in Monster Hunter games, and even get tattoos of this mighty Dragon/Flying hybrid. Reddit user BklynMando, who enjoys modifying old Nintendo Game Boy units as a hobby, recently shared their work on a Rayquaza-themed SP with the r/pokemon community. This transparent green handheld features gold buttons and a large Rayquaza sticker inside the upper lid. It still functions perfectly, as shown in photos of it running Pokemon Emerald. The post garnered praise from other users, who expressed excitement about seeing more of BklynMando's future projects.
